The first time I saw this ginger, I couldn’t believe that it was real. Asarum ‘Silver Web’ is a superb selection of this rare A. epigynum from Taiwan. The dramatic silver veining against the shiny black-green narrow leaf on this clumper is simply magical. The original collection was made by Bleddyn and Sue Wynn-Jones (BSWJ3442) of Crug Farms in Wales from a low elevation mountain site in Taiwan. We are uncertain of hardiness, but are trying it outside this year. If you aren’t a gambler, keep it as a container plant. This is a very limited offering, so don’t wait.
