Lemon Glow is part of a series of non-invasive Japanese barberries bred and tested by the University of Connecticut. Like the other barberry in the WorryFree collection, Lemon Glow will not produce nuisance seedlings or spread to unwanted areas. Lemon Glow has stunning yellow foliage and is excellent as an accent or foundation plant in addition to low hedge and border uses.

Care: As with all barberries, Lemon Glow is extremely adaptable but best in any well-drained soil location. Water regularly after planting and fertilize in spring before new growth begins.
Habit: Forms a perfect mound with little pruning. A light trim in late spring will enhance shape. Since seeds are not-viable, there is no need to trim after flowering to deter seedlings. Truly WorryFree!
