xLeucocolocasia ‘Noble Gigante’ is the first hybrid of Colocasia esculenta and the very distantly related Leucocasia gigantea (formerly colocasia). This magnificent and heretofore impossible breeding breakthrough comes from Kentucky’s plant breeding phenomenon, Brian Williams. Plants of xLeucocolocasia ‘Noble Gigante’ reach 5′ in height with 3′ long, grey-black leaves similar in form to Leucocasia gigantea…simply extraordinary!
