This new creamy-edged sport of Hosta ‘Fragrant Blue’ originated at Shady Oaks Nursery and was subsequently named and introduced by Jack and Gary at Washington’s Naylor Creek Nursery. The small, 20″ wide clump is composed of powder-blue leaves, each surrounded by a 0.25″ white border. The attractive clumps of Hosta ‘Blue Flame’ are topped in midsummer with 16″ tall scapes of lightly fragrant lavender flowers.
