SOWINGPlant seed outdoors as soon as ground can be worked where they are to bloom, as Poppies do not transplant well. Seed is very fine and care must be taken not to bury too deeply. Plant in row 1 foot apart or mix with sand and broadcast. Cover withinch finesoil, well pressed down.
THINNINGWhen plants are 3 to 4 inches tall, thin 12 to 15 inches apart.
GERMINATIONGerminates in 5 to 10 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
REMARKSThese flower in a few weeks from seed, so successive sowings as late as mid July provide continuous flowering.
