Irish Moss is a prostrate evergreenherbaceousperennialwith tiny emerald green awl-shaped foliage along dense creeping stemsthat superficially resembles moss. The soft foliage is spotted with small transparent white flowers in summer. Has more densityinfull sunandconsistent moist well-drained soils.Since Irish moss is tolerant of light foot traffic it is excellent to fill in gaps between stepping stones and along pathways.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:Low Maintenance.May brown out if there is too much or not enough water. No serious pests or diseases. Watch forslugs. Foliage may decline in hot and humid summer, but will revive in fall.
