Salvia ‘Purple Majesty’ (Purple Majesty Sage) – A large semi-shrubby perennial (subshrub) that grows 3 to 4 feet tall with an upright and somewhat open habit. The shiny ovate bright green leaves are broad, pointed and heavily textured with lightly serrated margins. The
inch long deep purple tubular flowers, of a velvet-texture, are held in even darker calyces in whorls along an eight- to ten-inch-long spike in late summer- fall.
